Xiaomi Poco M3 is inbuilt with 6GB RAM teamed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset. An Adreno 610 GPU and an Octa-core Quad-core Kryo 260 processor functioning at a speed of 2GHz and 1.8GHz looks after its performance. A massive 6,000mAh battery powers up the device supported by 18W Fast Charging technology. And The Poco M3 price starts at Rs. 10,999 in India

Poco has now been an independent brand for a year and has launched several models across multiple series. The M series sits on the popular sub-rupee. 15,000 divisions in India, and to be successful, Poco has just brought the new Poco M3. As its name suggests, Poco M3 is the successor of Poco M2. Its price starts from 4000 rupees. The base 644GB variant is priced at Rs 10,999 and the 128GB variant at Rs. 11,999 in India. I got my hands on the Poco M3 and here is my first impression.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • The Poco M3 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset
  • It sports 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and there are two storage variants
  • It packs in a massive 6,000mAh battery

The Poco M3 comes in a bright yellow box just like any other Poco smartphone. In fact, it is also a color option in the Poco M3. It’s called Poco Yellow and it’s the color of my unit. On the Poco M3, I like this bright finish but not everyone likes it and so the Poco also offers cool blue and power black color options.

The display size of the Xiaomi Poco M3 is unchanged compared to the Poco M2. It has a 6.53-inch panel with dew grooves at the top. It has a full-HD + resolution which is not very common in this price range. With the price limit of the device, I found the bezel to be dense but acceptable. The teardrop notch has an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

The camera module itself is very slightly raised. The Poco M3 has a triple camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth and macro camera.

With the Poco M3, you get two storage options: 64GB and 128GB. There is a slight difference here because the 64GB variant uses UFS 2.1 storage while the 128GB variant has UFS 2.2 storage which can cause a slight speed difference.
