WandaVision episode 5 released out February 5 on Disney+ Hotstar — just possibly laid the groundwork for the X-Men entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The fifth episode of Wandavision is big not only for the show but also for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
WandaVision episode 5 recap
At the very end of the new episode, Quicksilver (Evan Peters) arrives at Vision’s house to greet his wonderful sister Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen). For all intents and purposes, Wonder Brother Pietro Maximoff / Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) died in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
What Quicksilver has revealed is a huge moment for MSU, though, for those who haven’t seen these three X-Men movies, it doesn’t make much sense (he was 2014’s X-Men: Future Past Days, 201’s X-Men: Defeat, and 2019 dark phoenix). If you want to see more after Wandavision Episode 5, I suggest clinging to the days of the future, as the other two are absolutely horrible. It is somewhat surprising that Peter Quicksilver responded to Peter with tears in his eyes, although I think Marvel will explain this in future Wandavision episodes.
One of the 5 episodes of OneDavision opens in the ’80s (and eventually brings the 16: 9 ratio that sitcoms carry to this day). Wanda and Vision both have problems keeping Tandy and Billy asleep. After Wanda sent Vision to bring their pacifiers, he even tried his powers to calm them down, to no avail. And the pacifiers don’t keep them quiet for very long. Write (excessively) friendly neighbor Agnes (Katherine Han), who volunteered to be a good aunt and babe. Although Vision is a bit hesitant about his offer, it takes Agnes back to Wonder and breaks her spell, and asks if she should run again. It’s as if the actor is asking the director if his shot should be given to someone else.
Vision goes away naturally and the orchestrator of this sitcom-y world – Wanda tries his best to address his concerns. She’s not confident enough but they realize the kids have stopped crying. They go to their crabs and discover that the twins are missing, only two five-year-olds (Gavin Border and Belen Bevilets) will call Wanda and Vision Mommy and Daddy. Oh my, Tommy and Billy just grew up in seconds – faster than Wonder Pregnancy. Agnes seems to be not paying attention to herself, which is self-interested. Why is he less bothered to play with Wonder Will? Or rather, how is he doing it? Shouldn’t Wonder’s mind control abilities prevent him from doing so?
Captain Monica Rambeau (Torah Paris) resumed programming on the other side of Westview with her stand processing inside Westview. FBI Agent Jimmy Woo (Randall Park) came to see him with Dr. Darcy Lewis (Cat Dennings) who has revealed himself as a huge Monica fan. The doctor said he was not satisfied with Monica’s brain scan and blood work, but Monica had nothing else.
He got up and changed to join a SWORD at the briefing, where (acting) director Tyler Howard (Josh Stamberg) portrayed Wanda as the villain in the story, he appeared as an Avengers opponent (Avengers: Age of Ultron). And its out-of-control behavior in Lagos and Germany (from Captain America: Civil War).
