Logitech G102 Review: Here Is The Honest Review Of Logitech G102. Is It The Best Gaming Mouse In This Under Rs. 2000? You Will Find The Answer After Reading This Article

Logitech G102 Review

Logitech has literally been making mice for decades, we’re talking the early 80’s when most of the world’s population still associated the word mouse with rodents. So it’s no surprise that the Logitech G102 LIGHTSYNC Gaming Mouse is good, but just how good is it?

The G102 is slightly underlined and looks a bit safer than some of the gaming mouse I’ve used in the past. The LED lighting effect is a great piece of gaming kit. It has a smooth, almost symmetrical, 6-button mouse with a clear finish that is available in a black or white finish.

It is a medium sized mouse that sits 116.6 mm long, 62.15 mm wide, and 38.2 mm high. The mouse comes with a 2m soft rubber, non-braided USB cable

There is some downside: There are no braided cables, or any option to adjust the weight. That being said, the G102 fits well with the price tag.

Logitech G102 Performance and Specs

The Logitech G102 LIGHTSYNC Gaming Mouse weighs 85 grams, which is slightly heavier than the Razer Deathadder V2 at 82g. The 136g heavy steel series is significantly lighter than the Competition 710. For me, it’s a comfortable weight that provides enough resistance during gameplay or when pulling.

The G102 uses the Mercury sensor, the same one that’s in the G203. Logitech’s refer to this as their gaming-grade sensor offer you control the sensitivity from 200 to 8000 DPI.

A key feature of the G102 is the reporting time. The G102 LIGHTSYNC is capable of reporting back more than 1000 reports per second, which is about 8 times faster than a standard mouse and makes movements and clicks feel more instantaneous.

The weight of the scroll is significantly heavier than that of other mice. If you plan to use it to scroll websites or documents all day, you’ll enjoy it a bit heavier. The wheel is easy to gift, build with rubber finishing, and smooth mouse buttons.

The RGB halo and Logitech “G” logo on the back of the mouse supports 16.8 million colors. The best thing is it can be adjusted for brightness and offers smooth color transitions and blends. The halo also allows for the rainbow effect that is becoming too popular.

LIGHTSYNC technology automatically immerses you in action, reacting to the effects of light in many game actions. LIGHTSYNC in Game explodes, reaching out to enemies, being damaged, healed, visiting new worlds, and more.

Logitech G HUB

The Logitech G HUB software package gives you ultimate control over the G102, allowing you to adjust it to your specific needs. The DPI Speed function allows you to toggle anywhere from 1 to 5 different DPI speeds using the DPI button at the bottom of the scroll wheel. It can be configured with ease.

The G HUB software lets you control and customize LED lighting via LIGHTSYNC. One of the cool features I found is the screen sample effect, which changes the LED based on what is currently on your screen. It simple but effective.

LIGHTSYNC technology immerses you into the action with automatic, game-driven lighting effects that react to many popular games. LIGHTSYNC will blast light to match in-game explosions, approaching enemies, damage taken, healing done, new worlds visited, and much more.” – Logitech
